Lifestyle Counseling
Dr. Cundari has done extra training in counseling and can help provide you with the tools to make reasonable changes to your lifestyle depending on your goals and needs. She is not a clinical therapist, however, her approach to counseling is highly influenced by the psychotherapeutic method Compassionate Inquiry developed by one of her teachers, Dr. Gabor Maté. She often pairs counseling with a body-based modality like craniosacral therapy, reiki therapy, somatic experiencing or acupuncture to assist in the process of connection with the mind and body (especially in the Mind, Body, Soul Sessions she offers).
Dr. Cundari also believes that diet and what we are putting in our bodies is the foundation for good health. She has past experience working as a personal trainer and has a passion for educating patients on how they can get the most from their diet. Nutraceutical supplementation: It would be ideal to get all of our nutrients from our food; however sometimes we do not always get everything our body demands. Dr. Cundari is trained to recognize nutritional deficiencies and can prescribe supplementation based on each individual’s needs and requirements when needed.
